Crashproofing Lives

Dear Friends,

Formula Driving School would like to thank you for your involvement in the 2019 St George Local Business Awards voting. It was all thanks to your support that we were able to reach the final of this great event for the second consecutive year. Your support helped us become finalists again.

We are grateful for your acknowledgement of our work and are motivated by your appreciation of our efforts, which propels us to become better. On May 8, 2019, there will be an award presentation at Sharkies Leagues Club. We shall be present, and no matter the outcome, we are glad to be finalists again.

There is more great news we would like to share with you. We were recently informed that the Formula Driving School made it as finalists for the 2019 Australian Small Business Champion Awards. Dear friends! Our team of instructors at Formula Driving School is very grateful to everyone who participated and voted in the 2018 St. George Local Business Awards.

We appreciate the sincere support, positive emotions and the faith you showed in our work. As such, we are glad to share with you some wonderful news we just received: Formula Driving School is a finalist in this year’s competition! We are very proud of this fete and achievement considering the fact that we never advertised our business on a commercial basis during the nomination period. In fact, we only asked for support from our friends and clients directly or using social media networks without using any money in the process.

We therefore believe this nomination is a true reflection of our hard work and the immense contribution we have made in the industry and the community at large.

Once again thank you! Your recognition of our efforts and the high quality services that our driving school delivers gives us the extra motivation to strive more and become even better in the industry.

Several changes will be implemented concerning the licensing of both P1 and P2 drivers as from 20 November 2017.

The first key change will be the provision that P1 drivers will have to complete the Hazard Perception test before they can be allowed to proceed with the driving test.

Furthermore, once a P1 driver has been accredited, they will no longer be required to pass the hazardous perception test again before being issued with a P2 driving license. A driver who has been able to hold a P1 driving test for at least 12 months and has already passed the hazard perception test can be issued with a P2 driving license without having to take another hazardous perception test.

The authority is also doing away with the Driver Qualification Test and this implies that if you have had a P2 test for more than 24 months, then you can go ahead and apply for a full driving test without having to undertake any additional tests.  Note that this only applies for P2 licenses that will be issued from 20th, November 2017.
